Why isn't there full-text of everything when searching in the research databases?

Be sure to use the Check for Full Text link (button includes a green circle) to look for access across all of our research databases.  Also keep in mind that roughly 90% of article requests through interlibrary loan are filled within 24 business hours.

The publishing landscape is vast and there is no way we could subscribe to everything. The library contracts with vendors to get research databases and those vendors work with publishers who provide varying levels of access to their content.
